About Us

Born from a quest for alternatives closer to the home and heart than eating out and ordering in, Masala Box has been working towards its mission to door deliver food that resonates with memories of home, childhood and of course, moms, since 2014. We absorb skilful home cooks from the locality into our network, and thereby enable them to make a daily chore a source of financial stability. Currently, our network of home chefs is over 300 people strong and is spread over Bangalore. In our endeavour to make homemade food more accessible, Masala Box hopes to empower homemakers across the country. We have been on a mission to create a stratum of new-age entrepreneurs from one of the nation’s most underutilised assets – homemakers, since 2014. By providing skillful home cooks a digital platform, we enable them to follow their passion hassle free by creating their online stores in quick easy steps. Our network of home chefs is over 300 people strong and is spread over Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kochi and is constantly increasing.
