These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of HomeSe (www.home-se.com) (“Platform”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By accessing or using HomeSe, you agree to these Terms.

1. 🌿 About HomeSe

HomeSe is a discovery and connection platform that helps users find and connect with independent food makers, including home chefs, bakers, caterers, and artisanal food brands.

HomeSe:

  • Lists profiles based on publicly available information
  • Allows sellers to claim and manage their pages
  • Enables users to connect directly with sellers via external channels

HomeSe does not facilitate transactions, payments, delivery, or fulfilment.

2. 👤 User Eligibility

By using HomeSe, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years old
  • You are legally capable of entering into agreements
  • You will use the platform for lawful purposes only

3. 🔍 Nature of Listings (Public Data Aggregation)

HomeSe may create listings using publicly available information, including but not limited to:

  • Business names
  • Public contact details
  • Social media handles
  • Publicly shared descriptions or images

Important:

  • Such listings are informational and discovery-oriented
  • We do not claim ownership of this information
  • We make reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy but do not guarantee completeness or correctness

Rights of listed individuals/businesses:

  • You may claim your profile and manage it
  • You may request correction, modification, or removal of your listing
  • Upon verification, we will take appropriate action within a reasonable timeframe

4. 🧑‍🍳 Seller (Food Maker) Responsibilities

If you claim or create a listing on HomeSe, you agree that:

  • All information provided by you is accurate and up to date
  • You are solely responsible for:
    • Your menu, pricing, and offerings
    • Food quality, safety, and compliance
    • Order handling, communication, and fulfilment
  • You will comply with all applicable laws, including food safety and licensing regulations

You understand that:

  • HomeSe does not verify or certify food quality or hygiene, or licensing
  • You operate independently and are not an employee, partner, or agent of HomeSe

5. ⚠️ Seller Disclaimer (Important)

HomeSe is not responsible for:

  • The quality, safety, or hygiene of food
  • Accuracy of menus, pricing, or availability
  • Any delays, cancellations, or disputes
  • Any loss, damage, or harm arising from orders

All transactions and interactions happen directly between users and sellers, outside the platform.

6. 🔗 Direct Connections & External Platforms

HomeSe enables connections through:

  • WhatsApp
  • Instagram
  • Phone or other external links

Once you leave HomeSe:

  • You are interacting on third-party platforms
  • Their terms and privacy policies apply
  • HomeSe has no control over those interactions

7. 📌 User Responsibilities

As a user, you agree to:

  • Use the platform for genuine discovery and communication
  • Not misuse contact details or spam sellers
  • Exercise your own judgment before placing any order
  • Verify details directly with the seller

8. 🚫 Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

  • Use the platform for unlawful or fraudulent purposes
  • Misrepresent your identity or business
  • Upload misleading or false information
  • Attempt to disrupt or misuse the platform

9. 📤 Content & Intellectual Property

  • Sellers retain ownership of content they upload
  • By submitting content, you grant HomeSe a non-exclusive right to display it on the platform
  • Publicly sourced content is used for discovery purposes only

10. 🥡 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

HomeSe shall not be liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Any loss arising from interactions between users and sellers
  • Any issues related to food quality, delivery, or service

Use of the platform is at your own risk.

11. 🔐 Privacy

Your use of HomeSe is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

12. 🔄 Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

Updated versions will be posted on this page with the revised date.
Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
